Recruiter you will create, implement, and evaluate physician
recruitment strategies to fulfill the needs of the institution to
attract and select highly qualified candidates. Coordinate
physician recruitment activities by effectively building
recruitment relationships and efficiently fulfilling multiple
requisitions. Build relationships with departmental and
organizational leaders and provides service excellence to all
stakeholders.Responsibilities:
- Recruit qualified physicians and set the course for complex
physician recruitment plans with limited direction while evaluating
proper expense management, resource allocation efficiency, and
records management for self and others.
- Coordinate comprehensive physician recruitment strategies to
ensure adequate supply of physicians to meet the needs of the
institution and medical staff while implementing process and
procedure improvements.
- Ensure compliance with regulations, institutional policies, and
goal achievement.
- Assess immediate and long-term needs for physicians and
services and evaluates the effectiveness of strategies to attract
the proper mix of medical practitioners and/or specialists
including training other physician recruiters.
- Evaluate and recommend improvements to sourcing and marketing
campaigns to attract candidates including direct mail, electronic,
phone, and web communication to advertise physician
opportunities.
- Discern the quality and utilization of candidate resources
including internet inquiries, referrals, databases, professional
network, consultants, and other resources to generate leads and
refine strategies.
- Utilize established relationships with affiliates, vendors, and
networks to facilitate search and selection processes for the most
complex departments and recruiting objectives. Evaluates
opportunities by meeting consultatively with decision makers and
stakeholders to describe physician market conditions and recruiting
best practices. Knowledge - Skills - Abilities
- Demonstrate effective communication and negotiation skills, and
strong organizational and complex process management
abilities.
- Must work as part of a team, communicate effectively with all
disciplines and levels of professionals, and successfully
multi-task under tight deadlines.
- Sales, marketing and/or public relations background is helpful.
Experience working with web-based recruiting and applicant tracking
systems is necessary.
- Provides full attention to what others are saying, taking time
to understand and ask questions as appropriate.
- Uses logic and reasoning to identify strengths and weaknesses
of solutions, people, and information.
- Ability to persuade and negotiate effectively while interacting
with departments, physicians, and others.
- Ability to anticipate customer needs and assess quality
standards of services and evaluate customer satisfaction across
multiple departments.
Preferred Schedule:
Monday - Friday 8:00-5:00
Position Requirements:
Minimum Qualifications:Appropriate experience may be substituted
for education on an equivalent basis
- Minimum Required Education: Bachelor's Degree
- Minimum Required Experience: 3 yearsPreferred Qualifications:
- Certification: AAPPR Certification Preferred (Association for
Advancing Physician and Provider Recruitment)
