Job Description:
Overview:
The Global Freight Forwarding Sales Executive will be responsible
for selling Global Logistics services to customers with diverse
transportation needs. The Sales Executive will be responsible for
growing the business primarily through generating sales leads,
soliciting new accounts, increasing the services provided on
current accounts, and selling all Global services. The primary
responsibility is to generate new sales revenue independently for
the P&L(s) he/she supports.
Accountabilities:
? Generates revenue and grows client base: Cold call, prospect,
qualify leads and other new business opportunities, schedule
appointments, solidify relationships and close new business.
? Provide solution-based proposals to customers for our
services
? Recommend changes to current customers regarding their
transportation needs
? Complete lists of prospective customers for use as sales
leads
? Prepare sales contacts for new accounts
? Keep all stakeholders informed of progress on assigned tasks
? Responsible for working within a set territory (TBA)
? Daily discipline with in-house CRM
Required Qualification:
? Bachelors Degree
? Minimum of 3 to 5 years of Global Forwarding Outside Sales
? Prior success with customer and/or carrier growth
? Strong sales and relationship building skills
? Ability to effectively influence others
? Strong verbal and written communication skills
? Strategic and creative thinking skills
? Accountable for positive sales performance results
